Projects & Advocacy
Mental Wellness & Organizational Consultation
Training and Consultation
I work with diverse organizations—from sports clubs and schools to law firms, medical practices, and helping professionals—to provide brain-based education about stress response and mental wellness. This work is my version of advocacy: empowering people to understand how their brains operate and how to enhance their well-being.
My training approach helps organizations become more trauma-informed while preventing burnout among staff. Whether working with dental office teams to understand trauma responses in patients or helping a broad range of individuals recognize stress impacts, I focus on practical, brain-based education that creates positive change at both individual and organizational levels.
Survivor Education & Advocacy
Training and Support for Coercive Control Survivors
I am dedicated to educating both mental health professionals and survivors about coercive control and its impacts. I am passionate about training mental health professionals on this topic and continue to provide trainings and online content to educate in this area. I have previously partnered with Unsilenced.org to support TTI survivors by providing specialized training and resources. I have designed and facilitated courses through Take Back Your Life Recovery specifically for survivors of coercive control and narcissistic abuse.
My ongoing advocacy work focuses on creating a healthier survivor community through supportive collaboration with colleagues and empowering survivors to trust their own expertise. This work is central to my mission of helping people understand that they are the experts on their own experience, particularly those whose voices have been systematically silenced or dismissed.
Parent Consultation and Collaboration
After many years working with families, I know that parenting a struggling child can be incredibly challenging, isolating, and exhausting. I believe you are doing your best under extremely difficult circumstances.
Parents are often excluded from the treatment process and given little guidance on how to support your child effectively. My parent consultation focuses on helping you become a “therapeutic” parent. Because you are the “container” in which your child exists, supporting your child begins with supporting you.
As your child’s parent, you are one of the most influential factors in your child’s development. You know your child best and are a valuable resource and asset to your child’s treatment team. By helping you develop your unique parenting skills, understand your own reactions, and find empowerment in challenging moments, I equip you with tools to improve both your relationship with your child and with yourself.
